Wire Rope Storage Precautions: Ensure your wire ropes are stored in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse, safely away from direct sunlight or intense heat. In the warehouse, avoid stacking wire ropes in multiple layers. For long-term storage of large quantities, regular checks are essential to prevent rust. If rust is detected, promptly reapply lubricating oil. Should serious corrosion occur, the damaged segment must be discarded. For outdoor storage, position the wire rope on dry ground with boards as underlay, and protect with a tarpaulin cover.
