Should you need to store substantial quantities for extended periods, it is crucial to conduct regular inspections to prevent rust. Upon detecting any rust, promptly reapply lubricating oil. In cases of severe corrosion, the affected segment should be scrapped. For outdoor storage, ensure placement on dry ground with boards as an underlay and cover the ropes with a tarpaulin for added protection.
