Wire Rope Storage Precautions: To ensure the longevity and performance of your wire ropes, they should be stored in a dry, ventilated warehouse, away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Avoid multi-layer stacking in the warehouse. For large quantities stored for extended periods, regular inspections are necessary to prevent rust. If rust is detected, reapply lubricating oil immediately. Severely corroded segments should be discarded. For outdoor storage, place the wire rope on dry ground with an underlay of boards and cover with a tarpaulin.
