Wire Rope Storage Precautions: To ensure the longevity and effectiveness of our Heavy-Duty Steel Wire Rope, it is crucial to store it in a dry and well-ventilated warehouse. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight or heat sources. Do not stack wire ropes in multiple layers within the warehouse. For long-term storage of large quantities, regular inspections are necessary to prevent rust. If rust is detected, reapply lubricating oil immediately. In cases of severe corrosion, the affected segments should be discarded. When storing wire ropes outdoors, place them on dry ground with boards underneath and cover them with a tarpaulin to shield them from the elements.
