In the warehouse, wire ropes should not be stacked in multiple layers. For long-term storage of large quantities, conduct regular inspections to prevent rust. Upon discovering rust, promptly reapply lubricating oil. In cases of severe corrosion, the affected segment of wire rope should be deemed unfit for use. When storing wire ropes outdoors, place them on dry ground with boards underneath and cover them with a tarpaulin to shield them from the elements.
