Avoid stacking wire ropes in multiple layers within the warehouse. For long-term storage of large quantities, frequent checks are essential to prevent rust. Upon detecting rust, promptly reapply lubricating oil. If corrosion is severe, discard the affected wire rope sections. For outdoor storage, place the wire ropes on dry ground with boards underneath and cover them with a tarpaulin.
