Wire Rope Storage Precautions: To ensure the longevity and performance of your wire ropes, store them in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse away from direct sunlight or intense heat. Avoid stacking in multiple layers to prevent damage. For long-term storage of large amounts, regular inspections are crucial to prevent rust. Upon detecting rust, immediately reapply lubricating oil. Severely corroded segments should be scrapped. When storing outdoors, place the ropes on dry ground with boards underneath and cover them with a tarpaulin for protection.
