Optimal Storage Of Wire Rope
Wire Rope Storage Precautions: Ensure storage in a dry and well-ventilated warehouse while avoiding direct sunlight or heat baking. Wire ropes must not be stacked in multiple layers in the warehouse. For long-term storage of large quantities, regular inspections are essential to prevent rust. If rust is detected, immediately reapply lubricating oil. In case of severe corrosion, the section of the wire rope must be discarded. When storing outdoors, place wire ropes on dry ground with boards underneath and cover them with a tarpaulin.
