Wire Rope Storage Precautions: Ensure your wire ropes are stored in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse. Avoid direct sunlight or heat exposure. Do not stack wire ropes in multiple layers. Regularly inspect long-term stored wire ropes to prevent rusting. If rust is found, reapply lubricating oil. Severely corroded sections should be discarded. For outdoor storage, place wire ropes on dry ground with a board underneath and cover them with a tarpaulin.
