The Storage Of Wire Rope
Wire Rope Storage Precautions: To ensure longevity and performance, store in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse. Shield the ropes from direct sunlight and heat exposure. Avoid stacking wire ropes in multiple layers. For long-term storage of large quantities, conduct regular inspections to prevent rust. Upon noticing rust, promptly apply a fresh coat of lubricating oil. If corrosion is severe, consider scrapping the affected portion. When storing outdoors, place ropes on dry ground, use boards for elevation, and protect with a tarpaulin cover.
