Wire Rope Storage Precautions: To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your wire ropes, they must be stored in a dry and well-ventilated warehouse. It is crucial to avoid exposing them to direct sunlight or heat baking. Do not stack wire ropes in multiple layers within the warehouse. For wire ropes stored in large quantities over extended periods, regular inspections are necessary to prevent rust. Upon detecting any rust, promptly recoat the ropes with lubricating oil. If corrosion is severe, the affected section of the wire rope should be discarded. For outdoor storage, ensure the location is on dry ground, supported with boards, and covered with a tarpaulin for protection.
