Wire Rope Storage Precautions: Ensure the wire rope is stored in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Avoid stacking wire ropes in multiple layers. For long-term storage of large quantities, conduct regular inspections to prevent rust. If rust is detected, reapply lubricating oil immediately. Severely corroded sections should be discarded. For outdoor storage, place the wire rope on dry ground with wooden boards underneath and cover it with a tarpaulin.
