Wire Rope Storage Precautions: Ensure storage in a dry, ventilated warehouse, away from direct sunlight or heat. Avoid multi-layer stacking. For long-term storage of large quantities, regular checks are necessary to prevent rust. On finding rust, reapply lubricating oil promptly. If corrosion is severe, segment and discard the wire rope. For outdoor storage, place on dry ground, use boards as underlay, and cover with a tarpaulin.
