Wire Rope Storage Precautions: Ensure storage in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse to avoid exposure to direct sunlight or heat. Avoid stacking wire ropes in multiple layers within the warehouse. For long-term storage of large quantities, regular inspections are mandatory to prevent rust formation. Upon detecting rust, reapply lubricating oil. In cases of severe corrosion, discard the damaged segments. For outdoor storage, place wire ropes on dry ground with boards underneath and cover them with a tarpaulin.
