Our 8X36WS+IWRC Steel Wire Rope is engineered specifically to withstand the extreme abrasion, heavy impact loads, and severe bending stresses encountered in open-pit mining operations. Utilizing an 8-strand Warrington-Seale (36WS) construction with 36 individual wires per strand, this rope combines thick outer wires for rugged abrasion resistance with inner fine wires for outstanding flexibility.

Built with an Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC), the all-steel core delivers high structural integrity and maximum crush resistance when subjected to heavy multi-layer drum winding and high dynamic shock loads. The 8-strand geometry offers a larger external contact surface, reducing pressure on sheaves and winch drums while maximizing service life on electric rope shovels, draglines, and heavy mining hoists.
