Wire Rope Storage Precautions: To maintain the exceptional quality of your wire ropes, store them in a dry and well-ventilated warehouse, ensuring protection from direct sunlight or intense heat. In storage, avoid stacking wire ropes in multiple layers to prevent damage. For extensive storage periods, regularly inspect the ropes to prevent rust. Upon detecting rust, promptly apply lubricating oil. Severely corroded segments should be scrapped. When storing wire ropes outdoors, place them on dry ground with boards underneath and cover with a tarpaulin for added protection.
