  Our 8X31WS+IWRC Steel Wire Rope is a high-performance hoisting cable engineered specifically for heavy-duty port machinery, including Ship-to-Shore (STS) container cranes, Rubber-Tired Gantry (RTG) cranes, Rail-Mounted Gantry (RMG) cranes, and portal harbor cranes. Featuring an 8-strand Warrington-Seale (31WS) construction, this wire rope combines fine inner wires for flexibility with thick outer wires for maximum abrasion resistance against sheaves and drum grooves.

  Built with an Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC), the all-steel core provides outstanding structural stability, exceptional crush resistance under multi-layer drum tension, and high breaking load capacity. The 8-strand geometry offers a larger contact surface and superior bending fatigue life compared to standard 6-strand ropes, ensuring smooth, reliable, and continuous operation during high-frequency port loading cycles.
