The Storage Of Wire Rope
Wire Rope Storage Precautions: To ensure the longevity and reliability of our Heavy-Duty Marine Grade Galvanized Steel Wire Rope, it should be stored in a dry and well-ventilated warehouse, avoiding direct sunlight or heat exposure. Multi-layer stacking is not recommended. For long-term storage of large quantities, regular inspections are essential to prevent rust. If rust is detected, promptly recoat with lubricating oil. Severely corroded segments should be discarded. For outdoor storage, place the wire rope on dry ground with wooden boards underneath and cover it with a tarpaulin.
Shenwei can package the rope using durable plywoodand solid woodenreels (500M-2000M), and custom packaging is available to meet specific customerrequirements.
