The Storage Of Wire Rope
Wire Rope Storage Precautions: Ensure storage in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse, avoiding exposure to direct sunlight or high heat. Do not stack wire ropes in multiple layers. For long-term storage, regularly inspect to prevent rust; reapply lubricating oil if rust is detected. Scrap any severely corroded segments. Outdoor storage should be on dry ground with boards as underlay, protected by a tarpaulin cover.
