a. Purpose: Specify the intended application for the rope.
b. Size: Indicate the rope's diameter in millimeters or inches.
c. Construction: Detail the number of strands, wires per strand, and the type of strand construction.
d. Type of Core: Choose from Fiber Core (FC), Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC), or Independent Wire Strand Core (IWSC).
e. Lay: Select from right regular lay, left regular lay, right lang lay, or left lang lay.
f. Coating: Specify whether the rope is bright (ungalvanized), galvanized, stainless, PVC-coated, or greased.
g. Grade of Wire: Provide the tensile strength of the wires.
h. Breaking Load: Indicate the minimum or calculated breaking load in tonnes or pounds.
i. Lubrication: State if lubrication is required, and specify the type of lubricant.
j. Length: State the desired length of the wire rope.
k. Packing: Choose between coils wrapped with oil paper and hessian cloth (or equivalent), or wooden reels.
