Wire Rope Storage Precautions: Ensure your wire ropes are maintained in pristine condition by storing them in a dry and ventilated warehouse. It's crucial to avoid exposure to direct sunlight or heat baking. Remember, wire ropes should not be stacked in multiple layers within the warehouse. If storing large quantities for extended periods, regular inspections are necessary to prevent rust. Upon detecting any rust, promptly reapply lubricating oil. In cases of severe corrosion, segments of the rope must be scrapped. For outdoor storage, place the wire ropes on dry ground, using boards for support, and shield them with a tarpaulin.
