Wire Rope Storage Precautions: For optimal preservation, wire ropes should be housed in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse, away from direct sunlight or any form of heat exposure. Ensure that the ropes are not stacked in multiple layers. For long-term storage of large quantities, regular inspections are essential to prevent rust. Upon detecting rust, promptly reapply lubricating oil. In cases of severe corrosion, discard the affected segment of the wire rope. When stored outdoors, place the ropes on dry ground with wooden boards underneath and protect them with a tarpaulin cover.
