It is imperative to avoid stacking wire ropes in multiple layers within the storage area. For substantial inventories requiring prolonged storage, routine inspections are vital to avert the onset of rust. Should rust be identified, lubricating oil should be reapplied without delay. In cases of severe corrosion, it is essential to remove and replace the compromised rope section. When storing ropes outdoors, ensure they are elevated on dry ground using wooden boards as a base and shield them with a tarpaulin for optimal protection.
