Remember, wire ropes should not be stacked in multiple layers within the warehouse to prevent undue pressure. For substantial and long-term storage, perform regular inspections to ward off rust. Upon detection of rust, promptly reapply lubricating oil. If rusting is severe, consider the segment of the wire rope for scrapping. For outdoor storage, position the wire rope on dry ground with boards underneath, shielded by a tarpaulin to prevent exposure to the elements.
