Wire Rope Storage Precautions: Ensure storage in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse, avoiding direct sunlight or heat exposure. Do not stack wire ropes in multiple layers within the warehouse. For long-term storage of large quantities, conduct regular inspections to prevent rust. Upon detecting rust, reapply lubricating oil; if corrosion is severe, that segment of the wire rope should be scrapped. When storing wire ropes outdoors, place them on dry ground with boards underneath and cover them with a tarpaulin.
