Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or excessive heat to prevent any potential damage. It's crucial not to stack the wire ropes in multiple layers to ensure their integrity. For prolonged storage, conduct regular inspections for rust, and apply fresh lubricating oil as needed. If you observe significant rust, that section of the rope should be decommissioned. When outdoor storage is unavoidable, position the ropes on dry ground using boards and protect them with a tarpaulin cover.
