For extensive and long-term storage, conduct regular inspections to detect any rust formation. Upon discovering rust, apply a fresh coat of lubricating oil to protect your investment. Should corrosion become severe, it is advisable to discard the affected section immediately. For outdoor storage, place wire ropes on dry ground, supported by boards, and cover with a tarpaulin for added protection.
