The Storage Of Wire Rope
Wire Rope Storage Precautions: Ensure storage in a dry, ventilated warehouse, avoiding direct sunlight or excessive heat. Do not stack wire ropes in multiple layers within the warehouse. For large quantities stored over long periods, perform regular inspections to prevent rust. If rust is detected, reapply lubricating oil. Severely corroded sections should be discarded. For outdoor storage, keep wire ropes on dry ground, supported by boards, and covered with a tarpaulin.
