Avoid stacking the wire ropes in multiple layers to prevent damage. For long-term storage, regular inspections are essential to avoid corrosion. If rust is detected, promptly reapply lubricating oil. Should corrosion become severe, the affected segment of the wire rope must be disposed of. When storing wire ropes outdoors, place them on a dry surface, supported by boards, and cover them with a tarpaulin for protection.
