Wire Rope Storage Precautions: Ensure storage in a dry and well-ventilated warehouse, away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Avoid multi-layer stacking of wire ropes in storage. For long-term storage of large quantities, regular inspections are necessary to prevent rust. Upon detecting rust, reapply lubricating oil; if corrosion is severe, the affected segment should be discarded. For outdoor storage, place on dry ground with wooden boards underneath and cover with a tarpaulin.
