The Storage Of Wire Rope
Wire Rope Storage Precautions: To ensure the longevity and quality of your wire rope, it must be stored in a dry, ventilated warehouse, away from direct sunlight or intense heat. Avoid multi-layer stacking in storage. For long-term storage, frequently inspect the ropes to prevent rust. Upon detecting rust, reapply lubricating oil. If corrosion is severe, the affected segment should be scrapped. For outdoor storage, place the wire rope on dry ground with boards underneath and cover it with a tarpaulin.
