Wire Rope Storage Precautions: For optimal preservation, ensure storage in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse, avoiding direct sunlight or heat exposure. Wire ropes should not be stacked in multiple layers within the warehouse. For long-term storage of large quantities, conduct regular inspections to prevent rust formation. If rust is detected, apply a fresh coat of lubricating oil. In cases of severe corrosion, the affected wire rope segment should be discarded. For outdoor storage, place the wire rope on dry ground with board support and cover it with a tarpaulin for protection.
