Wire Rope Storage Precautions: For optimal preservation, ensure the wire ropes are stored in a dry and well-ventilated warehouse. Protect them from direct sunlight and excessive heat exposure. Avoid stacking wire ropes in multiple layers within the storage facility. When storing large quantities for extended periods, perform regular inspections to prevent rusting. Upon detecting rust, promptly apply a fresh coat of lubricating oil. In cases of severe corrosion, affected segments should be discarded. If the wire ropes are stored outdoors, place them on dry ground, supported by boards, and shield them with a tarpaulin cover.
