Avoid multi-layer stacking in storage. For long-term storage of large quantities, conduct regular inspections to check for rust. Upon detecting rust, promptly recoat with lubricating oil. If corrosion is severe, the affected section should be discarded. For outdoor storage, place wire ropes on dry ground with boards underneath and cover them with a tarpaulin.
