a. Purpose: Specify the intended application for the steel wire rope.
b. Size: Indicate the diameter of the rope, either in millimeters or inches.
c. Construction: Detail the number of strands, the number of wires per strand, and the type of strand construction.
d. Type of Core: Choose between Fiber Core (FC), Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC), or Independent Wire Strand Core (IWSC).
e. Lay: Specify the lay type-Right Regular Lay, Left Regular Lay, Right Lang Lay, or Left Lang Lay.
f. Coating: Indicate the coating preference-Bright (ungalvanized), Galvanized, Stainless, PVC, or Grease-coated.
g. Grade of Wire: Specify the tensile strength of the wires.
h. Breaking Load: Provide the minimum or calculated breaking load, either in tonnes or pounds.
