Wire Rope Storage Precautions: Ensure wire ropes are stored in a dry and well-ventilated warehouse. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight or heat. Wire ropes should not be stacked in multiple layers within the warehouse. For extended storage of large quantities, frequent inspections are necessary to prevent rust. If rust is detected, reapply lubricating oil; if corrosion is severe, the affected segment should be discarded. For outdoor storage, place wire ropes on dry ground, provide underlay with boards, and cover with a tarpaulin.
