The Storage Of Wire Rope
Wire Rope Storage Precautions: Ensure optimal preservation by storing wire ropes in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse. Avoid direct sunlight or exposure to heat sources. It's crucial not to stack wire ropes in multiple layers within the warehouse. For large quantities stored over extended periods, frequent inspections are necessary to prevent rust. Upon detecting any rust, reapply lubricating oil. Severely corroded segments should be discarded. When storing wire ropes outdoors, place them on dry ground with boards for support, and shield them with a tarpaulin to protect from the elements.
