Avoid stacking wire ropes in multiple layers within the storage facility. For prolonged storage of large quantities, frequent inspections are necessary to prevent rust. If rust is detected, reapply lubricating oil promptly. Severe corrosion necessitates scrapping the affected segments. For outdoor storage, position the wire ropes on dry ground with boards underneath and cover them with a tarpaulin.
