Wire Rope Storage Precautions: For optimal longevity, store wire ropes in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse. Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure that wire ropes are not stacked in multiple layers to prevent damage. For large quantities stored long-term, regular inspections are necessary to prevent rust. Upon detecting rust, promptly apply lubricating oil. If corrosion is extensive, dispose of the affected section. For outdoor storage, place ropes on dry ground with wooden boards as a base and cover with a protective tarpaulin.
