Wire Rope Storage Precautions: In order to maintain the excellent quality of your wire ropes, ensure they are stored in a dry and well-ventilated warehouse. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or any heat source. Remember, wire ropes should not be stacked in multiple layers to prevent damage. For long-term storage, regular checks are essential to prevent rust. Should rust appear, promptly reapply lubricating oil. In cases of severe corrosion, the affected segment of the wire rope should be discarded. When stored outdoors, place the wire ropes on dry ground, supported by boards, and cover them with a tarpaulin for protection.
