Wire Rope Storage Precautions: To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your wire rope, it should be stored in a dry and well-ventilated warehouse. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or heat sources. Wire ropes must not be stacked in multiple layers within the warehouse. For long-term storage of a substantial quantity, regular inspections are essential to prevent rust. Upon discovering rust, promptly recoat with lubricating oil. If severe corrosion is detected, the affected segment of wire rope should be deemed scrap. For outdoor storage, place the wire rope on dry ground, provide a wooden board underlay, and shield it with a tarpaulin.
