Wire Rope Storage Precautions: Ensure the wire rope is kept in a dry and well-ventilated warehouse, avoiding direct sunlight or excessive heat. Avoid multi-layer stacking of wire ropes. For long-term and large quantity storage, regularly inspect for rust. If rust is found, reapply lubricating oil. If serious corrosion is detected, the affected segment should be discarded. For outdoor storage, place the wire rope on dry ground with wooden boards underneath and cover it with a tarpaulin.
