The Storage Of Wire Rope

Wire Rope Storage Precautions: Ensure the wire ropes are stored in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse, avoiding direct sunlight or heat exposure. Wire ropes should not be stacked in multiple layers in the warehouse. For long-term storage of large quantities, regularly inspect to prevent rusting. If rust is detected, reapply lubricating oil promptly. Severely corroded sections should be scrapped. When storing wire ropes outdoors, place them on dry ground, elevate with boards, and cover with a tarpaulin for protection.
