Wire Rope Storage Precautions: The wire ropes should be stored in a dry and well-ventilated warehouse, avoiding direct sunlight or heat exposure. Multi-layer stacking of wire ropes in the warehouse is not recommended. For prolonged storage of large quantities, regular inspections are crucial to prevent rusting. If rust is detected, reapply lubricating oil immediately. In case of severe corrosion, the affected segment of the wire rope should be scrapped. For outdoor storage, ensure the ropes are placed on dry ground with boards underneath and covered with a tarpaulin for protection.
